Crisis or Emergency Contacts:

  • Call the European emergency number: 112 (or your local emergency number).

  • If you can, go to the nearest hospital emergency department.

  • If you are in Germany and need urgent medical advice, you can also contact the medical on-call service: 116 117.

 

If you are concerned about a child or teen’s safety (urgent, but not life-threatening):

  • In Germany (and other EU countries where available), call the Children and Youth Helpline: 116 111.

  • If you are in the UK or ROI, call Samaritans: 116 123 (or 999/112 for emergency).

  • If you are in the US or Canada, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

If you are not in immediate danger but need support right now:

  • Contact your GP/Doctor or treating clinician as soon as possible.

  • Ask someone you trust to stay with you, and remove anything that could be used for self-harm.

  • If there is immediate danger, do not wait for an email response. Call emergency services now.
