As far as possible we have screened and checked the validity of qualifications of professional members on this platform but you must confirm the validity of the qualifications and police clearance for yourself. We serve primarily as a platform to facilitate connections to one another. 

 

Please check that the therapeutic professional you select is registered with the appropriate professional body (which may be from their home country or where they studied or registered/met qualifications). This should be explicitly stated on their own professional website yet you are always free to and should ask them directly.

In Germany, for any professional to work in schools or with children, they must have documented police clearance, of which they can present upon request. No consumer of therapeutic services should feel compelled to work with someone who cannot provide this in a timely fashion and as currently updated. 

 

The Therapy Collective is in regular communication with professional members. We cannot however guarantee nor confirm the suitability of any therapeutic professional for you.

We are working towards verifying professional credentials more clearly on this platform and ensuring professional members work with transparency and within legal limits. As more formalized standards are established, they will be made available.
