Expatriate
Therapists,
Practitioners & Providers serving Germany

Interdisciplinary

& here to serve the

Expatriate Community

Services featured are primarily  offered in English yet other languages are also available

We have all navigated new places.

We have redefined our place in the world.

We have updated and modified our professional focus (for some of us many times over), grown and adapted.

Bottom line is, we get what it's like to go through tough changes, transitions and develop.

Since we have found each other, we have determined that it should be easier for those relocating or acclimating to get the support they need.

It should be more seamless, whether you are seeking the direct support of therapeutic professionals or are a member of the professional community looking to connect.

We have therefore created this space, this community, to uplift and support each other.

This website is our offering to you. Click on Locations or Services above to be linked to individual professionals who can extend a helping hand.

Disclaimer

Providers on this platform offer training, support, consultation, advice, coaching, and wellness support. The Therapy Collective is a directory. It does not provide medical, psychiatric, or psychotherapeutic diagnosis nor treatment, and it is not an emergency service.

If you are in crisis, or if you or someone else may be at risk of harm:

  • Call the European emergency number: 112 (or your local emergency number).

  • If you can, go to the nearest hospital emergency department.

  • If you are in Germany and need urgent medical advice, you can also contact the medical on-call service: 116 117.

If you are concerned about a child or teen’s safety (urgent, but not life-threatening):

  • In Germany (and other EU countries where available), call the Children and Youth Helpline: 116 111.

  • If you are in the UK or ROI, call Samaritans: 116 123 (or 999/112 for emergency).

  • If you are in the US or Canada, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

If you are outside Germany and need an international directory of local crisis lines:

If you are not in immediate danger but need support right now:

  • Contact your GP/Doctor or treating clinician as soon as possible.

  • Ask someone you trust to stay with you, and remove anything that could be used for self-harm.

  • If there is immediate danger, do not wait for an email response. Call emergency services now.
